TRAVEL LIKE A LOCAL
There is no place we’d rather spend a ‘getaway’ than the mountains, fjords, and beaches of our little corner of Alaska. Community is important here. Our values to explore, inspire, and protect are shared by other small businesses in Seward and we want to make it easy for you to connect and travel with purpose. Check out our all-inclusive Seward Staycation packages for you to hit the highlights of this special place.
UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT
We couldn't be more honored to preserve the legacy that Paul and Lynda started with Angels Rest on Resurrection Bay. With its seasoned gardens, unbeatable location, and classic coastal charm, Salted Roots is excited to continue exceptional hospitality at the newly rebranded Rustic Roots.
BEACHFRONT LOCATION
Our 1 acre property is located on the beachfront of Beach Drive in Lowell Point. 200 feet of private shoreline, this is the perfect destination where the mountains meet the sea.
ONSITE YOGA SHALA
We love our small yoga studio, perfect for hosting intimate wellness classes for up to 15 guests. With locally made lavender eye pillows, Half Moon Yoga blocks, mats, and bolsters available free to our guests, please visit our Gather page to find out more about booking your next private yoga class.
THE PASSING OF THE TORCH
Matt and KellyAnn recently took over management of this property from Lowell Point locals Paul and Lynda Paquette. Paul, a local builder known for his craftsman work, Silhouette Shingles, and the prominent designer of the property, was hired by his neighbor Lynda in the late 1990s to build the first cabin at Angels Rest. As they say, the rest is history! 7 units later, Paul and Lynda, happily married for 20+ years, are ready to retire from their work in hospitality. We have big shoes to fill and hold more honor than we describe, and we are happy to carry on this legacy of love as a part of the Salted Roots journey.
